Eaton Rapids Virtual Scholar Program
The Virtual Scholar Program is no longer accepting applicants for the 2017-2018 school year, unless students are Eaton Rapids residents.
All potential students must complete the Virtual Scholar Application.
The Eaton Rapids Virtual Scholar Program offers a unique schooling experience for select students grades 6-12. Through Connections Learning, we offer a variety of online courses from Michigan highly qualified teachers. Students can earn a fully accredited high school diploma (28.5 credits). This completely virtual program targets self-motivated, disciplined students who wish to work from home. The Virtual Scholar Program is a full-time, tuition-free, online program that is intended for college bound students who can successfully manage the rigor of a full-time online learning program.
* Online course offerings include Honors, AP, and NCAA accredited courses in addition to traditional academic classes. Students are provided an Academic Online Advisor and an Eaton Rapids Public Schools mentor teacher to help them be successful in their studies. Mentor teachers will be available in person on Friday mornings for students seeking extra help in their courses.
*Please note: Our Virtual Scholar Program is NOT a credit recovery program and students who are credit deficient WILL NOT be accepted. Credit deficient students should consider enrolling in Greyhound Central Performance Academy's Alternative Education program which allows students to catch up on credits.
Why choose Eaton Rapids Virtual Scholar Program?
Families around the country choose online education for many reasons- the most common being the desire for a flexible, personalized education for their child.
